The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) on Tuesday recognized four companies for their commitment to quality management and excellence.

The award ceremony, held at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre, honored Lujeri Tea Estates, Anchor Industries, Project Peanut Butter, and Signal Global Logistics for meeting rigorous standards.

Fred Sikwese, guest of honor, praised the awardees, saying, “Malawi is on the right track, and we appeal to all industries to strive for the best.” Representatives from the awardees expressed gratitude to MBS for the recognition.

“We had to go through bumpy ways to improve and learn with integrity,” said one representative, adding that, “Commitment to customers is very important, and we’re proud to have achieved this milestone.”
