MCHINJI-(MaraviPost)-Police in Mchinji have started investigating the deaths of two family members who were allegedly killed by a mob.
Rodwell Chikukwa, 58, and his nephew, Chikaiko Joseph, 38, died on May 21, 2025, after being accused of robbing a motorcycle and killing its owner, Amon Lyson.
According to Mchinji Police spokesperson, Limbani Mpinganjira,Lyson was assaulted and killed at Kabuthu Village.
An autopsy found that Chikukwa and Joseph died from head injuries due to severe assault.
