Msaka donates to survivors at Mulanje’s Mloza

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Just like Blantyre, Chikwawa, Nsanje and other districts in the South, Mulanje is under siege.

Lifeless bodies are being pulled from the mud and debris in several villages along Ruo, Muloza, Thuchila and Lichenya rivers.Hundreds of people are either missing or dead.

The situation that Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President East Bright Msaka has found in Muloza is dire and hopeless.

Msaka therefore defied the rains induced by Cyclone Freddy and travelled all the way to the Malawi/Mozambique Boarder where he cheered up, donated and comforted victims of the disaster at Mitawa Primary School.

Msaka donated an asortment of food that will see nearly 900 families have meals.

“Situation here is horrific. While priority seem to be in Blantyre at the moment, let’s not forget Mulanje, Phalombe and other districts in the South as well that seem abandoned,” said grief stricken Msaka.
