LILONGWE Maravipost: As the country continues to experience series of violations, the vehicle of former Civic education Minister Timothy Mtambo has been damaged by unknown thugs.

Mtambo confirmed the development with Maravipost on Thursday, February 27.

According to him, the CFC vehicle, which symbolizes the Citizens for Transformation Movement, was part of the Enock Chihana Convoy.

Mtambo once led a powerful demonstration in the country as the leader of the Human Rights Defenders Coalition, which helped to bring the current regime, the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), into power.

Mtambo is currently the Vice president for Alliance for Democracy (AFORD).

This comes at a time when the country has only left with 7 months to general elections

Yesterday, Wednesday, February 26, the suspected youth of the Malawi Congress Party destroyed vehicles belonging to the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) amidst President Lazarus Chakwera’s presence in Parliament.
