LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Lazaru Chakwera has exposed evil plan by opposition parties to overthrow his government through hyperinflation.
Chakwera told the Parliament on Wednesday that intelligence gathered indicates that the hyperinflation is deliberately being perpetrated by some business owners with the help of “an opposition party that is here in Parliament”
“Their evil plan to overthrow my government through this hyperinflation has been uncovered and they will not succeed,” dares Chakwera.
The President therefore defend his State of Nation Address (SONA) he presented two weeks arguing that was true reflection on what his government has done in the past four years.
Chakwera observes that remarks by some quarters who are accusing some government officials for allegedly misinforming the president in the SONA, are false.
The Malawi leader justified his SONA saying it was not based on lies as insinuated by some opposition members saying God will be his judge.
He said ever since he got into power has never done anything to lie, steal or kill.
Chakwera appeared in Parliament to answer some questions from legislators.
