BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Mighty Wanderers secured a thrilling 1-0 victory over arch-rivals FCB Nyasa Bullets in the highly anticipated Blantyre Derby at Kamuzu Stadium(KS ) on Saturday.

A 12th-minute strike from Blessings Mwalilino proved to be the difference-maker, sending the Nomads’ fans into ecstasy.

Francisco Madinga was named Man of the Match for his impressive midfield display.

The win narrows the gap between Wanderers and league leaders Bullets to just two points.

With 16 points from six matches, Wanderers remain second in the 16-team TNM Super League, while Bullets top the table with 18 points.
