ZOMBA-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has disclosed that 611,144 candidates will sit for this year’s national examinations.
In a statement, the board’s executive director, Dr. Dorothy Nampota, said necessary measures are in place to ensure credible examinations that have a majority of female registrants.
Dr. Nampota said 262,216 learners are expected to sit for the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE), 163,950 for the Junior Certificate of Education Examinations, and 184,978 for the Malawi School Certificate of
Education (MSCE).
She said PSLCE will start from 22nd to 24th May, JCE from 4th to 13th June while as MSCE will be administered from 2nd to 26th July 2024.
