“Upon hearing about the news about a mother who was needy and had given birth to quadriplets, Madame Chakwera was deeply touched,” said Mia and continued: “Since she is busy with other engagements, she therefore sent me to visit the mother on her behalf.”

Upon hearing that another woman, Patuma Juma from area 24 in the city had given birth to triplets, Mia said she was personally touched and also thought of cheering her.

After cheering her, she presented the mother of the triplets with a cash gift of MK50,000.

Commenting on the goodwill visit and  kind donations, Senior Nursing Officer at KCH, Flora Khonje commended Mia for the kind gesture saying, “the donation would make a big difference to both needy women at such time of need.”
