People in Chilomoni township have set on fire Chilomoni Police Station,
The Maravi Post has failed to verify what is angering the citizens. Some claim that the Police failed to react quickly when a dead person was discovered.
Some claims made by Media say the person whose identinty was not immediately verified was killed by two police officers following an argument at a drinking joint.
Police are said to be using teargas to disperse the irate crowd. This is highly volatile and as we went to press we have yet to contact the Police to get the true reason.
Many Malawians fed up with the lawlessness going ON in Malawi are decrying this latest development. Bertha Masiku wrote on her facebook page Chilomoni “yavuta …… kumangomva kuti “phuuu phuuu phuuu!”.
