A cop has died on the spot, another one was shot in the arm this morning after suspected robbers shot at a minibus carrying cash for Petroda at the Chilambula road round about.
According to our reporter who is on site, the Police officer took three bullets.
According to Police the robbers have managed to get away after they abandoned their gateway black Sedan with plates around Chitukuko in Area 15. They then stopped a commuter minibus with passengers at gunpoint, forcing the passengers out and hijacking the minibus.
Police have started a huge manhunt and feel positive that they will soon have the robbers in custody or dead. Crime in Malawi is now getting out of hand.
