DPP and UDF Presidential Running mate Honourable Atupele Muluzi took time off his busy schedule to visit people that were shot by bodyguard to UTM leader Saulos Chilima at Umbwa in the area of Traditional Authority Chiwalo in Machinga.
Vice Presidential running mate Atupele Muluzi said he is saddened by the shooting incident of two innocent boys and one woman that was affected by teargas cannisters.
The honorable Muluzi has since asked for thorough investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile Honourable Atupele Muluzi has assured the victims that they will be taken to hospital for proper medical attention. According to family members of the victims, Bodyguard to UTM leader Saulos Chilima Used live bullets to disperse people that were demonstrating against the coming of Saulos Chilima in Machinga.
