Bon Kalindo arrested for false claims on former deputy speaker Chiwaya death, albino killings

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi Police on Friday, December 10, 2021 arrested mastermind of the recent wave of protests against cost of living, former UTM youth director Bon Kalindo over false claims.

National Police spokesperson James Kadadzera says in a statement that on December 9, 2021 at Mangochi boma, Kalindo made false statement that former deputy speaker of Parliament Clement Chiwaya was murdered at Parliament Building.

Kadadzera further says in Mzuzu, Kalindo had also published false statements by claiming that government knows those murdering people with albinism as well as the perpetrators.
