BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Muslim World League on Monday April 3, 2023 donated maize flour to 1500 households who were displaced into camps because of Cyclone Freddy in Chikwawa district.
After the donation, Mia donated assorted items to over 800 households as part of her charity works.
The assorted items, worth MK8 million, including cash for each household, salt, clothes and maize seed for irrigation.
During the event, Chikwawa Nkombezi member of parliament Abida Mia appealed to people to move upland so that they are less prone to natural disasters such as floods.
