BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-FDH Bank has increased its sponsorship package for the football competition to MK250 million, a significant jump from the previous amount of MK100 and MK50 million.
Ronard Chimchere competition manager for fdh bank said, “FDH Bank remains committed to supporting football in Malawi, and we’re excited to increase our sponsorship package to MK250 million. We believe in the power of sports to bring people together and promote development in our communities.”
Speaking at the launch of the fifth season of the FDH Bank Football Competition, Alfred Gunda from football Association of Malawi expressed gratitude to the bank for its continued support.
“This is a great season that’s coming with FDH Bank football, and we’re excited to see what the future holds,” he said.
Gunda highlighted the success of the previous season, thanks to the media’s efforts in promoting the competition.
“You made us reach all corners of the country with your publicity, and everybody appreciated FDH Bank football through you,” Gunda explained.
