Frank Mwenefumbo dumps Chilima’s UTM

MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-UTM Publicity Secretary, Frank Tumpale Mwenifumbo on Tuesday, November 2, 2022 resigned from his position and party membership.

In his letter of his resignation addressed to UTM Secretary General, Mwenifumbo says has resigned from the party in order to live a private life and concentrate on his farming business at his village.

Mwenifumbo further says had already explained his decision to the party president Saulos Chilima last month that Chilima accepted his decision.

The development comes amid President Lazarus Chakwera’s Tonse Tonse Alliance fallout as UTM is being sidelined in key government positions.

Currently, Chilima is under investigation on corruptions allegations.
