LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Golden Peacock Hotels on Thursday, November 12, 2020 donated MK4 million towards Tour de Lake Malawi Festival 2020.
PriMiC founder Prince Chokhotho Malunga Mboma the event organizer told the Maravi Post that his grouping has also already signed sponsorship contracts with Chibuku Products Limited.
Mboma disclosed that his grouping is ready to set the biggest festival in Malawi.
“We are ready, we are geared that Tour de Lake Malawi is set to be the biggest festival in Malawi, not only in Malawi but one of the biggest festival in the World.”
One of the most inspiring event on Beauty pageants out of five is Miss Yummy Mummy Malawi that will take place on Thursday, 31st December 2020 at Kabumba Hotel in Salima.
This is for Models with a child or children to be Ambassadors for cancer of the Cervix Awareness Campaign.
“The reason is that we want to promote the models that would love to model beyond Parenthood and these models, the one contesting for Miss Yummy Mummy will be ambassadors because in Malawi, we are loosing lots of Women to Cancer of the Cervix because it is detected in the late stages where it is difficult to cure it.”
“Those that are attempted to cure it, it’s so expensive, Millions of Kwachas are spent trying to serve lives but in the process most of those millions are wasted down the drain because eventually most Cancer victims that cancer of the Cervix has been detected in late stages, they don’t survive,” explained Mboma
The Tour de Lake Malawi Festival 2020 is a mixed bag Lake shore Mobile festival organised by PriMiC Inc of Blantyre Malawi to compliment the Tourism promotion and Marketing of our beautiful Lake Malawi and it’s various attractions.
PriMiC Inc was founded by Mboma in 1997. Its first event was introducing Mr Malawi body building contest on Good Friday the same year.
Fashion and Music festival, Universities and Colleges festival and Mother’s day festival just to mention a few are some of the events that were organised by PriMiC inc.
This year, 2020 is a 10 days Mobile festival along the Lake Malawi, Stretching from Songwe to Mangochi from 23rd December to 1st January 2021.
The festival contains the 10 products (events), Tour de Lake Malawi cycling challenge, Kabaza cycling competition, Fishermen’s Bwato race, Cultural troupes competition, Beauty pageants, body building contest, ship cruise, clean Lake Malawi awards Gara nights (dinner and dances), Music shows and Golf tournaments just to mention a few.
