HARARE-(MaraviPost)-The widow of late Zimbabwe’s former President Robert Mugabe, Grace is in the spotlight again after being accused of conducting her own private rituals on her late husband’s body during and after the burial.
The woman, who is not new to controversy, has even reportedly left Mugabe’s family shocked after what she did before the funeral.
According to the Daily News, Mugabe’s sickness, death and burial were highly associated with sorcery.
Another family member who was not proud of how things were conducted said: “There was no viewing of the body on the day of the burial. No one knows if Mugabe still had a nose, two eyes, two hands or two legs because Grace didn’t allow the viewing of his body.”
The former first lady reportedly ordered the relatives and friends to leave the room in which the body was kept in, where she was left with her children for a while.
The family member added: “No one knows what she was doing with the children and the remains of the former President. Our suspicion is that she was carrying out some rituals.”
Mugabe family’s spokesperson Leo said that the family didn’t deal with superstition, however, Grace brought the sorcery from Singapore with her.
“Grace claimed that the late former President ordered her not to leave his remains out of her sight,” he concluded.
