In a press release made available to Maravi Post, Unknown group until now is encouraging Malawians not to accept the results of the May 21st results. Below is the full presser
Revolutionary greetings!
Moto Revolutionary Movement (MRM) would like to re- affirm fellow Malawians of its usual stance that it will not recognise the outcome of this year’s general elections which took place on Tuesday 21st May 2019.
MRM has been for the past 5 years observing with great keen interest all the events and activities leading to the so called elections.

Whereas the years preceding 1994 were overshadowed with political persecutions, the past 25 years has witnessed great political and economic servitude, and patronage. MRM need not overemphasize the following hardships among others:
- persistent hunger and food shortages
- deteriorating educational standards
- persistent shortages of drugs and medicines in our health facilities
- persistent power outages and water shortages
- economic stagnation
- high unemployment rate
- nepotism
- rampant corruption
- tribalism
- regionalism as witnessed in the voting patterns over the past 25 years
- increased crime rate
- unabated killing of innocent individuals with albinism
- rudimentary government policies
- a lack of foresighted leadership and
- a demoralised civil service
It is in line with the above that MRM is requesting Malawians to personally and unconditionally re- affirm their total and undivided commitment to join in the noble struggle of liberating our country from political and economic slavery. It is my sincere hope that we are going to work tirelessly and relentlessly together in this daunting and challenging task.
As has been the case, MRM has always had advocated a three pronged approach in its quest and endeavour to free the suffering masses: firstly asking the incumbent to voluntarily step down, secondly calling for mass demonstrations and/ or thirdly waging an armed struggle.
MRM will relentlessly and unequivocally neither succumb nor accept any western stooge or sycophant who would like to perpetuate the suffering of Malawians under the guise of democracy. We will stand by what we know. That is: we will fight for our liberty!
There is no time to waste! MRM needs your unsolicited uttermost sacrifice.
A court verdict should not be a vindication to perpetuate the suffering of innocent Malawians!
MRM already has a manifesto in place to unshackle our beloved country from the yoke of political and economic slavery.
Long live Moto! Long live the revolution! Aluta continua! The struggle continues!
