A Blantyre Based gospel artist, Joseph Chirwa says he is done with all the preparations and all is set for the launch of his long awaited first album titled “By my Spirit”.
Scheduled for 8th April, 2016 at Sunbird Mount Soche hotel in Blantyre, Chirwa said that people should expect fireworks since he has done all the necessary rehearsals to give people the best performance.
He added that the show will be an executive one because only a limited number of 300 people will patronize it.
During the launch Chirwa will be supported veteran musicians including Sir. Paul Banda and Apostle Enesia Chitheka among others.
According to Chirwa, his main aim is not to make money but to win souls by preaching salvation in these last days.
Said Chirwa, “i base my music on Christian teaching which ‘love’ is. My wish is to uplift hopeless souls by encouraging them through the gospel of Christ.”
He further said that he is prepared and expect great things to happen on the night of 8 April.
Recorded at One-heart studios by Lloyd Phiri, the album carries songs like Chikondi, Rise and Shine, Gwireni Dzanja, Yehova M’busa Wanga and Increase and Multiplication which are currently enjoying massive airplays in different local radio stations.
Chirwa’s show expected to start at 6 O’clock in the evening will attract an entry fee of K10 000 per person.
