MZUZU (MaraviPost) — Malawi’s arguably hot-selling musician Lawi, born Francis Phiri, will be in Mzuzu Wednesday at newly opened Grand Palace Hotel courtesy of Word Alive Ministries – Mzuzu Chapter, organisers said.
Pastor Reuben Matundu, organising chairperson of the upcoming show, said the event was a fundraising ploy aimed at raising funds for the Ministry so that they buy a minibus.
“We’ve been having challenges to reach out to some of God’s flock,” said Matundu. “We’re raising funds to buy a minibus to help us in reaching out and charity.”
For corporate tables it is K150, 000 for a table of ten while individual tickets are going at K10, 000. Couples which will desire to enter the show will have to cough K18, 000, organisers said.
