LILONGWE (Maravipost): Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources(LUANAR) Natural Resources College (NRC) campus Animal Health and Production graduates have petitioned parliament to intervene in facilitating the recruitment of Assistant Veterinary Officers (AVOs)
In a statement signed by one of the student representatives, Aaron Chijana Banda said the undersigned graduates of Animal Health and Production from the Lilongwe LUANAR
Across Malawi are concerned that despite the advertisement for this position and
applications, there have been no updates on the recruitment process.
Banda said the timely
recruitment of qualified personnel is vital to address the growing challenges in the
livestock sector.
He said they stand ready to contribute meaningfully to these efforts. In addition, they kindly request a formal meeting with the Agriculture Committee of Parliament.
He further said there is a need to Specialize in Training in Animal Health and Production
Graduates from LUANAR NRC as they have received comprehensive education in.
