BLANTYRE(MaraviPost)—Mafco FC will be returning to the Central Region with a smile after having successful tour in Blantyre where they have managed to collect maximum six points in the TNM Super League following their triumph over Ntopwa FC and Mighty Wanderers.

The Salima based soldiers beat Ntopwa 2-0 on Saturday before whacking Mighty Wanderers 1-0 on Sunday at the Kamuzu Stadium where Wanderers’ supporters came in large numbers to drum support for their team.

The visitors scored through Walusungu Mpata who was substituted in the second half to pave way for Ben Mbewe.

Both sides were a marvel to watch from the first whistle up to the end but it was Mafco that looked more goal hungry and they created more chances.

Elsewhere, TN Stars have managed to collect 3 points after beating Blue Eagles 2-1 while Ekwendeni Hammers have humbled the Capital City giants with a goal to nil. Ekwendeni scored through Blessings Singini while Chiletso Zoya and China were on target for TN Stars and Maxwell Salambula scored the consolation goal for Blue Eagles.

The game between Tigers FC and Moyale Barracks ended in 1-all draw. Moyale will be returning to the Northern Region with a single point as they were humiliated yesterday by Nyasa Big Bullets with 5 goals to 1.
