LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) witness Daud Elvin Suleiman on Thursday pinned down Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) to install and use a data base which they were given during disclosure.
This because the data base that has been brought by MEC in court is different from what they were given.
And then Suleman asked them to unplug the cable from the network connection as he suggested that the system could be accessed remotely.
Immediately the public could see smoke coming out of the eyes and ears of the first respondent’s and second respondent’s lawyers.
Out of panic, they started asking where the expert witness got the data from.
Well, witness immediately stated who gave him the data as well as the exact time and place he received it.
A guilty man (Attorney General Kalekeni Kaphale) is scared of one’s own shadow.
Then the judge hit the final nail on the coffin when he said “Mr AG, when I asked Mr Kazuwa to proceed it meant that I overruled you.” I repeat, you have been overruled. This was a polite way of saying “KK, shut the f*** up”.
The case resumes on Friday at 09:00 hours in the constitutional court in the capital Lilongwe.
