LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi government this week yet again withdrew one of the security vehicles for Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima in Lilongwe.
Economic Advisor to the Vice President Milward Tobias confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) this morning.
According to Tobias, government has not provided any reason for the action.
Minister of Information and Communications Technology Henry Mussa confirmed of the development in separate interview.
According to Mussa, the vehicle has been directed to other departments because the Vice president’s office has excess vehicles.
This is the second time government has tampered with the Vice Presidents security detail.
