PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-On song South Africa-based forward Frank ‘Gabadinho’ Mhango continues to hog the limelight after being named in the Fifa 20 team of the week.

The Orlando Pirates marksman has been featured as a reserve forward in the star-studded team which includes global superstars Sergio Aguero, Neymar and Marcus Rashford in the starting XI.

In the spotlight: Mhango

The weekly Fifa 20 Team of the Week update gives players a rating boost based on how well they’ve performed in real-life fixtures.

Apart from Aguero and Rashford, the starting XI has three other English Premier League players, namely Riyad Mahrez,  Michael Keane and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Others in the starting line-up are goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, defenders German Pezzella, Nicolas Nkoulou and Andre Almeida; midfielder Fernandes and strikers Fabio Quagliarella and Wissam Ben Yedder.

The substitutes are Alfred Gomis, Rodrigo Javier De Paul, Angel Mena, Maxwell Cornet, Youssef El Arabi, Paulinho  and Gaetan Charbonnier.

Mhango and four others are among the reserve players.

“The pick of the bunch of these is the new OVR 91 rated FUT card for Manchester City star Aguero,” reports www.express.co.uk.

After the announcement, Mhango’s club Pirates tweeted: “Alongside the BEST of the best, the #FIFA20 Team of the Week just became a whole lot HOTTER. Well Done @gabadinhomhango.”

Mhango, 27, is enjoying a rich vein of form in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) in which he is the leading scorer with 11 goals.

He has now scored in four consecutive games for the Buccaneers.

Ironically, Mhango has also scored in every game since German coach Josef Zinnbauer took over—nine goals in four matches.
