1 Min Read

LUCUSSE-(MaraviPost)-Jonas Malheiro Savimbi was an anti-communist and anti-colonialist Angolan political and military leader who founded and led the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola.

Assassination; Jonas Malheiro Savimbi was assassinated on February 22, 2002, in Lucusse, Angola.

His assassination came as a deep shock and surprise. He was a great fighter who fought against imperialism.

Buried on June 1st 2019, in Cemitério De Luena, the great leader was put to rest after 17 years. This is unbelievable but true!

Viva to the greats!!
