Mphatso Zathu Foundation supports Ntondoko Primary School with school uniforms in Blantyre

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-In a bid to keep learners in school, Mphatso Zathu Foundation on Tuesday, June 23, 2025, distributed school uniforms to selected students of Ntondoko Primary School, Lunzu in Blantyre.

The initiative aims to empower community women through tailoring skills training.

The uniforms distributed to the students were successfully sewn by these women, showcasing their newfound skills and talents.

Speaking at the event, Ruth Maluwa , Team Lead of Mphatso Zathu Foundation, emphasized that keeping children in school is the organization’s ultimate goal.

“We believe that education is key to unlocking the potential of the children, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way,” she said.

Primary Education Advisor (PEA) for Lunzu Zone, Mr Banda expressed gratitude to the foundation for their support.

“It’s heartwarming to see students dressed in uniforms, and I believe this will motivate them to work harder and achieve their goals,” Banda said.

The distribution of uniforms is part of Mphatso Zathu Foundation efforts to reduce barriers to education and promote learning among vulnerable children.

By providing uniforms, the foundation hopes to boost the students’ confidence and encourage them to attend school regularly.

The initiative has been well received by the community, and students as it’s showing signs of increased enthusiasm and motivation.
