LILONGWE (MaraviPost)-Member of Parliament (MP) for Neno ,Thocco Tembo described this years Affordable Input Program (AIP) worse project saying has not benefited people of his constituency.
Tembo told The Maravi Post in an interview that his area fears of hunger with the poor performance of AIP.
He said the program is well said by government officials but failing to be implemented on the ground
The lawmaker added that last year he used his initiative of providing liquid fertilizer to his people with the delay of the program
This is the second time for the country to use AIP program though the first phase seem to turn out well that this years implementation.
This years AIP program faced a lot of challenges as the transporters that government hired happen to be the channel of Fake fertilizer.
