Nigerian man arrested for stabbing his mother, set himself and mother ablaze

IMO STATE-(MaraviPost)-A middle-aged man identified as Johnbosco Ejiogu, from Umudagu Mbieri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State was arrested on Friday April 25, 2020 after set himself and his mum on fire after he allegedly stabbing her.

State Police Public Relations, PPRO, Orlando Ikeokwu, in Owerri confirmed the incident.

According to Ikeokwu, a disagreement between Ejiogu and his mother Pauline led to the ugly incident.

KanyiDaily report has however revealed that both Ejiogu and his mother were rescued from the fire with the help of the residents around the scene of the incident.

Meanwhile, both Ejiogu and his mother are receiving treatment and investigation has commenced.
