LONDON-(MaraviPost)-Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has finally revealed in a recent interview why she waited for a long time before getting married.
Speaking in a recent interview on Joy News, Rita Dominic disclosed that she waited till 46 before getting married because she didn’t want to make a mistake.
According to her, she met a lot of men who showed interest in her but she didn’t want to go into it because it didn’t feel right.
Rita made it clear that she didn’t allow societal pressure force to marry the wrong person.
Rita added that she faced a lot of societal criticisms for her choices but she turned a deaf ear to it.
She went ahead to appreciate her husband for doing a good job.
Rita Dominic wedded Fidelis Anosike at Selby Abbey, North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday.
The simple yet fancy wedding took place at the abbey, which is believed to be over 900 years old.
Rita’s husband, Fidelis, is the Chairman, Board of Directors, Folio Group, owners of the Daily Times and Miss Nigeria pageant.
On her Bridal train, the 47-year-old actress had TV presenter Michelle Dede as her Chief Maid of Honour, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, Vicky Sogunro and Olivia Waturuocha.
