Thousands of residents in most town of Somalia have been asked to evacuate from their homes followed massive floods on Thursday morning caused by heavy rainfall.
According to Mohamud Muhamed Hassan, save the children country director for Somalia, he has told CNN that they are working tirelessly to offer help even though their resources are limited.
As Quoted by CNN, Hassan said: “the current needs are huge and we are in danger of being overwhelmed if donors do not step in urgently”.
The current problem in Samaria has posed a danger of cholera and malaria outbreaks more especially to children.
Somalia government has put in place emergency committee to provide assistance in the affected areas
