We can report at the Maravi Post that disgruntled Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle are making a dramatic move. The royal couple announced on Wednesday that they intend to “step back as senior members of the Royal Family,” and reports on western Media say they are making plans to split their time between the U.K. and North America.
In September of 2019 Prince Harry visited Malawi, While Meghan Markle stayed behind in South Africa with baby Archie Harrison, she made an unexpected appearance alongside him in Malawi. Harry met with students and alumni supported by U.K. scholarships from Campaign for Female Education at the Nalikule College of Education.
Prince Harry started his second day of engagements in Malawi at the memorial site for Guardsman Mathew Talbot in Liwonde National Park. Talbot lost his life in May 2019 on a joint anti-poaching patrol with local park rangers. Prince Harry paid tribute by laying a wreath at the memorial.
“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote on Instagram. “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty the Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.
“We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty the Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Megan Markle does not surprise me anymore. I cannot believe how the only person she thinks about is herself. I am ashamed of her as an American. We all should have known. Her own Father & sister tried to warn us she was trouble. All of that was spot on. Totally ridiculous!! I hope the Royal Family can help Prince Harry to open his eyes.
