Police arrested South Africa’s Isibaya star Zinhle Mabena for an alleged conspiracy to murder her husband.
Mabena was taken into custody after the attempted murder incident that took place in January, resulting in the death of the husband’s bodyguard.
Reports revealed that Robert Ngwenya, Zinhle Mabena’s husband, survived an ambush attack after three men opened fire on his car while he was still inside.
According to City Press, Mabena was arrested last night and is scheduled to appear before Pretoria Magistrates’ Court today.
This comes after a series of scandals surrounding the TV star.
Last month, she was reportedly involved in a car accident that left a man paralyzed.
Mabena is also getting a divorce from her husband following a short lived marriage that started in 2017 after a few months of dating.
The TV star, who plays the role of Sihle on Isibaya has been seen switching back to her maiden name Mabena on social media and deleted all pictures of her and Dr Ngwenya together following the divorce proceedings.
Mabena’s husband also reveled on his Instagram page that he is set to release a tell all book titled: “5 YEARS IN MARRIAGE a chronicle of LOVE, MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE on his experiences in their short-lived marriage.
