The Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program – a joint initiative of the African Development Bank and the Global Center on Adaptation – will host a webinar to explore the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) sixth assessment reports and their implications for Africa.

The session titled, “IPCC Sixth Assessment Reports: Insights for African Countries for Transformative Climate Adaptation Investments,” will take place on 29 June from 12:00 to 14:00 BST as part of London Climate Action Week.

Specifically, the webinar will highlight key findings of the three reports and offer transformative solutions for a step-change in climate action across the continent.

Al Hamndou Dorsouma, African Development Bank Ag. Director for Climate Change and Green Growth will participate, as will Prof. Anthony Nyong, the Global Center on Adaptation’s Regional Director for Africa, among others. Josué Tanaka, Visiting Professor in Practice, Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change & the Environment, will moderate the webinar.
