Convicted Malawi Catholic priest Thomas Muhosha on albino killings dies

ZOMBA-(MaraviPost)-Convicted Malawi catholic priest Father Thomas Muhosha who is serving life jail term for the gruesome murder of MacDonald Masambuka (a boy with albinism) in 2018 has died.

ECM on Fr Muhosha death

The Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) Secretary General Fr. Henry Saindi has confirmed Muhosha death on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Zomba Central Hospital where he was receiving medical treatment.

The Maravi Post on July 12, 2022 reportedly that the late Mushosha went mad at Zomba Prison while serving his sentence.

The late Muhosha, Chikondi Chileka,, Alfred Yohane, Innocent Walasi and Mussa Lilongwe were on 27 June, 2022 sentenced to 30 years in prison by Blantyre High Court on a charge of transacting in human tissue of late Masambuka.

Masambuka went missing on March 9, 2018 and his body was later found buried in a garden on April 2, 2018 near Makawa Village, Senior Chief Mkoola in Machinga.
