Heart failure claims the life of former Justice Minister Ralph Kasambara

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The sudden passing of former Justice Minister and Attorney General, Ralph Kasambara, has left the nation in shock as preliminary findings from the autopsy have revealed that the cause of death was heart failure.

The autopsy, conducted by pathologists Dr Tamiwe Tomoka and Dr Andy Mwale, indicated that Kasambara suffered from cardiomyopathy and cardiomegaly, conditions that ultimately led to his demise.

National Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya confirmed the findings, stating that samples have been collected for further analysis.

The examination, carried out at Goodwill Mortuary in Area 4, was overseen by Dr Dan Namalika on behalf of the family.

Kalaya assured that the detailed results of the chemical analysis will be provided to the police in due time.

Kasambara was found dead at a lodge in Lilongwe’s Area 47 last Friday, sending shockwaves through the legal community and beyond.

Known for his contributions to the nation’s justice system, his unexpected death has left many mourning the loss of a respected figure.

As investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding his passing, the nation remembers Ralph Kasambara for his dedication to justice and law, leaving behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.
