Zomba police publicist Patricia Sipiliano says the law enforcers have since launched investigations to establish what happened.
The schools boarding master Harold Mussa said students allegedly went on rampage last night after they were forced to go for studies.
Mussa said the students were holding demonstrations before some of them set ablaze some infrastructure at the school.
Meanwhile the school has been closed.
Last night students told Times 360 that they held riots in protest of poor diet at the school.
