Malawi’s immigration deports two Pakistan nationals for misconduct

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The country’s Immigration department and Citizenship Service in central region on Sunday, March 6, 2022 deported two Pakistan Nationals for contravening Immigration laws.

Publicist for Regional Immigration Office center Pasqually Zulu told The Maravi Post that the deportation comes in after serving six months in custody for contravening Immigration laws at Maula and Kachere young Offenders prison’s respectively.

Arshad Shakeel, and Rehman Abdul deported

Zulu identified the duo as Arshad Shakeel, 26 holds passport number ER 1912392, which was issued on 29 July 2021 and it will expire on 28 July 2026 and other one as Rehman Abdul aged 18 holds also passport number TD9154881, which was issued on 22 January 2021 and it will expire on 22 January 2026.

He further said that the duo have left the country through Kamuzu International Airport at exactly 13: 53 hours.

This is the second deportation done within the week at the Central Regional Immigration Office following another deportation of a Pakistan national identified as Hassan Tahir.

Tahir was arrested for illegal stay by permit inspection and enforcement team and he was deported on the March 1, 2022 through the same Kamuzu International Airport.
