BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi’s music sensation Patience Namadingo has been unveiled as FDH Bank brand ambassador in a one and half year MK20 million deal which has seen him being a proud owner of a new Mercedenz Benz saloon car.
Making the announcement in Blantyre on Wednesday, FDH Bank Senior Manager for Digital Sales Yamikani Mbawala said FDH Bank is excited to have completed the partnership.
“We are a bank that champions digital in Malawi with a very young team and we are excited to have partnered with a young and talented artist like Namadingo,” said Mbawala.
“This has been a coming together of two big brands that will eventually complement each other in order to deliver customer satisfaction on the end of both brands. As a bank we chose Patience because he is young, talented and exciting, it means an exciting delivery of our messages to the public,” added Mbawala.
He said in the awake of Covid 19 pandemic, FDH is advancing messages that people should as much as possible use the bank’s digital products in order to access banking services to keep both our staff and customers safe.
“Customers can dial *525# in order to access the bank’s financial services on FDH Mobile, or use FDH WhatsApp Banking (0880 849 079) or use the One Click Online Banking platform to conduct corporate transactions as well as high risk transactions.”
“The bringing in of Namadingo will make our messages exciting and appeal to a particular demographic that we otherwise couldn’t have reached without the partnership,” explained Mbawala.
The agreement is worth MK20m and includes a brand new Mercedes Benz amongst other things.
Namadingo hailed the deal saying it is a milestone not for only him but musicians in the country.
“I connect with people and people connect with me, I will take the FDH Bank message to them,” said Namadingo.
