Nyasa Big Bullets FC players tests negative results for Covid-19

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)- Nyasa Big Bullets FC has produced negative results for Covid-19 towards every team member who undertook the test.

The test which was performed in Blantyre on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 was comprised with protocol sets of nine coaching staff, 22 players, two media officials, and three first security officials.

However, the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) advised all Super League Teams to go for tests before the resumption of the 2020/2021 soccer season that was suspended in March due to the pandemic.

BB FC Chief Administrative Officer, Albert Chigoga revealed in a press released today saying Robson Chiyenda results are now negative.

“Robson Chiyenda whose previous three tests conducted while he was in camp with Malawi national team came out positive, is one of the players whose results are now negative at last,” Chigoga said.

Chigoga added that players and officials have been advised to remain steadfast compliant with healthy and safety measures as the new football season is about to start.

The number of players and coaching staff who were tested excludes six players and one official, who are currently with the national team.
