BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Former Silver Strikers FC striker Maxwell Phodo Gasten has signed a three-year contract with the TNN Super league defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets.

Bullets confirmed of Phodo’s arrival through their Facebook page saying the 23-year-old joins the People’s Team as a free agent until 2025 following the expiry of his contract with Silver Strikers.

The people’s team new player expressed his excitement to have joined the big team in Malawi.

“I am so excited to have joined this big club. It has been been my desire to play for this team.

“Bullets is the biggest club in Malawi and it is every player’s dream to play for this club, which is very organised and always encourages players to do better,” said Phodo in a smiling face.

Phodo won the Airtel Top 8 Cup in 2019 and the FDH Bank Cup with Silver Strikers in the 2020/21 season.

The player scored more than 25 goals for the Central Bankers in all competitions.
