The Kingdom of Morocco has donated assorted Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to strengthen Malawi’s fight against the COVID – 19 pandemic.
Among the donated items are 2,000 litres of hand sanitizer, 5,000 boxes of chloroquine and about half a million face masks.
“This solidifies the cordial bilateral ties that exist between Malawi and the Kingdom of Morocco,” said Minister of Energy who is also DPP – UDF Alliance Running mate Hon Atupele Muluzi upon receipt of the consignment at the Kamuzu International Airport on Wednesday in Lilongwe.
According to a representative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco one Mohammed, the Kingdom treasures the cordial bilateral relationship that exists between Malawi and the Kingdom of Morocco.
He added Malawi is among 15 countries which Morocco has reached out to, to help bolster Africa’s fight against the COVID – 19 global health pandemic.
