LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)- Malawi Immigration department officers were on Thursday, March 5, 2020 transferred for leaking information regarding the visit by three Israeli intelligence IT experts who jetted in on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the capital Lilongwe.
The three individuals are in Malawi on invitation by the State house, President Peter Mutharika.
The trio’s visit is linked to the forthcoming fresh Presidential polls scheduled for May 19, 2020.
According to information at hand, officer in-charge for Immigration at Kamuzu International Airport Mbalose Mapemba has been moved to Malawi Investment Trade Center and will be replaced by Justin Bello from the ministry of homeland security.
MTIC officer Mr Mwanganda has been transferred to Regional office as permit officer.
