Prophet Bushiri in Malawi for safety

PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-The government of South Africa has dismissed the allegations that President Lazarus Chakwera had a hand in the departure of self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary from South Africa.

According to a press statement released by South Africa government communication and information system the Bushiri’s did not leave SA on board the flight carrying president Chakwera and his delegates.

The statement said, the department of Home Affairs officials in south Africa have verified the identities who board Chakwera’s jet, Bushiri and his Wife were not on the flight.

However the statement said South Africa has initiated a process to secure their extradition from Malawi in terms of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).

It further said while the process is underway law-enforcement agencies will continue investigation into this matter.

Bushiri has however insisted that he is not escaping trial in South Africa but come on safety issues.
