Tanzania VP Samia Sulu Hassan graces Malawi President Chakwera’s inauguration

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)– Due to Covid-19, the guest list have been restricted to just 100 delegates after the president cancelled major celebrations which were expected to be held at Bingu National Stadium.

However, all attendees at the celebration are required to wear face masks and sanitize frequently to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

Only a few leaders from different countries have been invited to attend the celebration due to the pandemic among is Tanzania Vice President, Samia Sulu Hassan who is expected to learn a few foreign dignitaries to attend president Chakwera’s inauguration at Kamuzu Barracks, Malawi Defence Force (MDF) headquarters in the capital Lilongwe.

Currently, a military parade is now making it’s way to parade ground and the president and other dignitaries are seated.
