The promotion which was launched on October 29, 2021 will end on December 24, 2021.
So far, the leading smartphone service provider Airtel Malawi has managed to splash over MK75 million in cash prizes in the promotion.
Airtel Malawi Marketing manager Thoko Sande told the virtual media briefing after the 5th draw of the promotion on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 that the promotion has managed to splash out MK75, 635, 000 in cash prizes while bringing excitement to customers.
Sande said the expectation is that customers will continue buying volume bundles to stand a chance of winning the grand prize of an already paid trip to Dubai.
“When we launched the promotion we wanted to light up the end of the year for our customers and results have indeed showed that the promotion has done just that. We have observed that the consumption of volume bundles has risen translating to the fact that customers are trying their luck in the promotion,” she said.
Sande added that the promotion was introduced to promote volume bundles on the network.
During the 5th draw, 623 Airtel Malawi customers went away with mK5,000 cash prizes each whilst 125 others went away with K50,000 each.
Since the start of the promotion 4337 customers have won MK5, 000’s each as daily prizes, 875 others winning MK50, 000 each as weekly prizes while 100 other lucky winners have won MK100, 000 each in monthly draws.
To enter into the promotion, Airtel Malawi subscribers are required to purchase Airtel PaNet Volume bundles.
Airtel Malawi Subscribers can buy PaNet Volume bundles through dialing 301, 211 or 121, My Airtel App and though Airtel money agents.
