Chinese man Sun Qiang crowned village chief in Ghan

ACCRA-(MaraviPost)-A Chinese man identified as Sun Qiang has been made the development Chief at the Kwahu Abetifi area in a community called Afram Agya.

By virtue of his enstoolment has been given the name Barima Kofi Ayeboafo.

The title development king is usually given to a person who is expected to bring development to the area he/she is crowned.

The ceremony for his crowning was held on September 5, 2020 with a grand durbar organised by the palace to celebrate the day.

People of Kwahu Abetifi have expressed their displeasure towards the Oman hene and chiefs in Kwahu Abetifi for enstooling a Chinese man as a chief in the town saying they did not understand how a foreigner would be made chief in the country.
