LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The flying soldiers from the Parachute Battalion, Airborne Rangers FC are still roaring louder in Chipiku Stores Premier division league.
The Rangers seem to have fixed their bayonets well, their marksmanship is also good as they are scoring more goals than any other team in the league.

They are the only team yet to test a defeat in MK15.5 million Chipiku Stores Premier division league.
They lead group C with 27 points from 9 games scoring 28 goals and they have conceded just 8 goals.Second placed are Villa FC from Mchinji with 15 points from 9 games.
On 3rd position are Support Battalion FC who are tied on 12 points with Wimbe United FC, Mchinji Boma Strikers FC and Ngolowindo FC who are occupying positions 4,5 and 6.
Ekas Freight Wanderers FC are on position 7 with 10 points from 9 games while Green Rangers FC are anchoring the group with 3 points and yet to win any game managed to share spoils in three games and lost 7.
Madalo Mkwate,General Secretary for Airborne Rangers FC, said after being knocked out of FDH Bank cup by Ekwendeni Hammers FC in the north,their focus now will be on their mission of returning into the elite league.
He added they anticipate a tough derby this weekend against their fellow Soldiers,Support Battalion FC buy was optimistic of doing well.
Dwangwa United lead group B with 20 points from 10 games,Silver Strikers Reserve are second with 19 points from 9 games while Mbabvi United FC and St Gabriel Medicals FC are on positions 3 and 4 who are tied on 18 points.Kamuzu Barracks RSV are on 5 with 10 points.
Mitundu Strikers FC and Simbi FC are on positions 6 and 7 respectively but tied on 7 points while Panthers FC anchor the group with 6 points from 11 games.
2021 runners up Extreme FC lead group A with 18 points from 9 games with Play Football Malawi on second position with 17 points from same number of game.
Millias Pofera Jegwe’s LUANAR FC comes 3rd with 15 points from 10 games after sparkling start of the second set of games of first round,the have won two against Kawinga FC 1-0,Ngwanje FC 2-0 before equalling power with Extreme FC 1-1.Area 36 based side Kawinga FC are on fourth position with 14 points.
LUARNAR FC Coach, Millias Pofera Jegwe, who guided Dedza Young Soccer into the elite league seasons ago,said it is a pay back time for those teams who defeated them in the first set of games.
Jegwe further said are geared this season to get promotion in the TNM Superleague as this will act as token of appreciation to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Kaunda and the entire LUANAR management for their continuous support towards the team.
Here are some of the weekend fixtures, Kamuzu Barracks RSV against St Gabriel Medicals at Lilongwe community ground, Wimbe United against Villa FC at Kasungu Stadium, Green Rangers FC versus Ngolowindo FC at Maliri ground and Mkanda Youth host Kawinga FC at Mchinji Community ground on Saturday.
On Sunday, the big one in Salima, Airborne Rangers FC are up against rivals Support Battalion at Airborne Rangers ground, Play Football MW versus LUANAR at Lilongwe Community ground,Dwangwa United are up against Mbabvi United at Chitowe Stadium while Simbi FC play Panthers FC at Mchinji community ground.
Top four teams from each group will qualify to the second round of the competition.
The twelve will be grouped into two in which top three will make it to the final round where they will battle it out for Championship and TNM Super League slot.
