A Single mother of three Mary Edwin works up early in the morning with Lichero on her head en route to another highly impoverished area of Nchesi almost 500 metres from the Bwalo la Njovu the main marketing hub of the city. Life is indeed unbearable for Ms Edwin.
However, unexpectedly, and unknowingly, Ms Edwin receives a phone call from Airtel
Ms Edwin makes K2,000 after selling her bananas in town.
From K2,000, Ms Edwin has to feed her family and make saving for the school going kids.
Asking her if she has ever entered in any of the promotion.
Edwin answers that she just here on the radios about the promotions and that she doesn’t know if she entered the promotion or not.
When Airtel broke the news that Edwin has won a K100,000, she couldn’t believe as she kept asking is that true or you are just joking!
Despite toiling of Ms Edwin little did she know that one day God will come to her rescue and smile on her face through Tisanje Promotion.
Ms Edwin told a group of journalists that “I am very grateful to Airtel for the cash,”

“We are asking more airtel subscribers to come forward and make more transactions through Airtel Money and ordinary vouchers,” Said Kapolo.
It is undeniable fact to make a mention that Airtel is doing everything it can to stop poverty wielding on its tracks.
