LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Salvation for all Ministries has donated assorted items to floods victims at Mtachi village, Chibothera primary school ground, T/A Mwadzama, Nkhotakota District.
The donated items which are worth MK60 million including 2000 bags of 25kgs of flour and bibles.
Making the Donation, The church leader Pastor who is also the owner of Creck hardware, Apostle Clifford Kawinga said, “The exercise aimed at helping floods survivors”.
Kawinga adds, “It is the natural of the church to take part wherever necessary as they are targeting to increase numbers of saving souls by charity work and preaching the word of God.
“As much as we are aware of what to do most christians don’t give,and we call upon the community to demonstrate the kindness through giving”.
On behalf of Traditional Authority Mwazama, Senior Group Gumbwe lauded the church for the bibles and food donations saying will help them spiritually and physically.
Gumbwe therefore called upon all well wishers to come in to help the community as need is intense.
One of the farmers who coordinated the community to Apostle Kawinga, Olivia Liwewe said after observing hunger in the community she tried to consult government officials who directed her to Apostle Kawinga.
“I was told that government donations might take long but I was directed to Apostle Kawinga who showed up after 2 weeks of our request we are thankful as a community,” said Liwewe.
Salvation for all ministry is embarking on helping underprivileged community country wide as yesterday they were in N’gabu for the same cause.
